News of 84-year old missing woman Nancy Guthrie, mother of TV's Today show host Savanna Guthrie, has understandably impacted the public. In particular, this news must have a great psychological impact on elderly women who hear the news. This case, which apparently involves forced entry into her home and abduction soon after, is a scary reminder for many how vulnerable they may be.
