If you think about how a person actually makes significant leaps toward self-improvement -- how a person really and truly CHANGES for the better -- you might imagine the answer is about a person making huge, enormous changes in their attitude and behavior. But in my 20 years of experience as a clinical psychologist, I have found the answer is quite different.
