Why Are You Always Running Late? It May Be That This Is An Addictive Behavior

This issue is important so take a moment to think about it!

For some people, chronic lateness isn't just poor time management. It may actually be an unconscious way of chasing a physiological rush. Cutting it so close that you're racing the clock floods the central nervous system with stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol, in turn creating a surge of urgency and excitement. Then, if you make it just in time, that tension is suddenly replaced by relief, producing an emotional "high." Repeating this cycle over and over can become reinforcing, much like other behavioral addictions.

If you are someone who has a problem with being late -- and making it "there" just in time -- check out my video from Dr. Seth YouTube to see if you relate.
