Do you have someone now in your life -- or have you had someone in the past -- who has talked badly about people behind their back but then acted like a best friend to their face?
People who talk badly about others behind their make people nervous. Why? Because everyone knows if that person will talk bad about others, they'll talk about you, too.
And they're right. This behavior -- talking behind someone's back -- is a sneaky, deceptive and dishonest behavior. People are right to sort of walk on eggshells around this person because this person usually can't be truly trusted. What's important to note is that usually people like this don't have very good, close trusted friends that are harmonious and loving; they're usually full of conflicts and resentments, if the friendships exist at all.
