Although a relationship isn't work in the way that paid employment is, there is still a division of labor in romantic relationships. And sometimes a relationship suffers because one member of a couple feels like they are doing more work than the other. This dynamic often triggers a sense of unfairness, and it is really important to not let this issue fester without addressing it. Why? Because a significant resentment can grow.
