The new documentary on Netflix, "Carman Family Deaths," is about a few members of a wealthy New England family that experienced tragedy. The grandfather was killed and no one was ever charged, and grandson Nathan Carman was charged with the murder of his own mother and she never returned from their joint fishing trip.
While the documentary is fascinating, its portrayal of mental illness deserves a much closer look. I discuss the implications for autism, with which Carman was reportedly diagnosed, in my new video on my Dr. Seth: Psychologist YouTube channel. You can watch it here!
