When the parents of adult children become elderly, there are often new challenges the adult children must manage as their parent may need extra help and assistance in all sorts of ways in life.
One of the most common consequences for brothers and sisters in these situations is for them to -- you guessed it -- fight, argue or disagree about what each thinks is best for their parents. While everyone typically has good intentions, sometimes things are said and done in some of these, ahem, "discussions" which seem too sharp, critical or even mean.
You can watch my video where I discuss some super simple strategies you can consider to make things smoother for your family, including using a shared calendar that all of you can access. For more strategies, check out my video here from my YouTube channel, Dr. Seth: Psychologist.
