TOTALLY RANDOM: Fables vs. Parables

Okay, I know this is random: In writing a new article, I had to look up the difference between a parable and fable. You probably know it already but I often get some of those rarely spoken words mixed up. Short answer: Parables have human characters, while fables have nonhuman characters, including animals and plants.

Here is a link which explains the words really well: http://www.wildfables.com/the-difference-between-a-fable-and-a-parable.
